Hand painted with glazes and oxides, this porcelain pendant was fired to 2350 degrees Fahrenheit in a salt atmospheric kiln. It's very very durable. Back is glazed in ivory color. Sterling silver bails. The cable necklace is optional. My pendants are available with or without the chain or cable necklace. Use your own chain if you wish. 3" x 1.25"
Salt firing lends many surprises and much depth in the clay surface to draw on. Reframing the artwork in smaller and interesting shapes is a fresh way to see the designs. I'm loving this new work.
