This hand drawn and hand painted porcelain pendant was fired to 2350 degrees Fahrenheit in a salt kiln. Back is a creamy shell glaze. Sterling silver bail. The cable necklace is optional. My pendants are available with or without the chain or cable necklase. Use your own chain if you wish. 1.5" x 2.5"
One of a kind pendants are my ‘latest' joy. These pieces of jewelry are all one of a kind. I choose interesting sections of larger salt fired shards, then diamond grind them to the shape I want. I also smooth those edges till they are beveled and feel like beach glass.
Sometimes the design becomes more abstracted with the paring down and sometimes framing the designs smaller highlights m vlayers of glaze and drawings in a new way.
