This incised porcelain pendant was fired to 2350 degrees in a salt kiln. The back is glazed in white.

Adjustable sterling chain is optional, at it's largest it is 22" long but will slide smaller to be the perfect length for your chosen neckline.

These pieces of jewelry are all one of a kind. I choose artistically interesting sections of larger porcelain shards, then grind them with diamond embedded grinders to the shapes I want. I smooth the edges till they feel silky like beach glass.
Re-framing these designs in interesting shapes is a fresh way to see my drawings on clay. I'm loving these new pieces and hope you do as well.
Salt firing lends many surprises from the atmospheric glaze flowing with the flame. My designs are enhanced by that glaze and feel great to touch. They are sturdy pieces. However avoid dropping them on a cement or tile floor.
